The Academic Green Corridor, which connects the east and west sides of the cultural and educational district, has one section within the Central Park. It is on this section that 155 Taiwan Cherry trees are planted as the main tree species, forming a wide pedestrian square full of cherry blossoms.
The main administrative service unit in the park is the Management Center, while the Visitor Center mainly provides tourists with consultation and troubleshooting services.
In the park, there are 4 small wooden flower rooms, mainly serving as business spaces for selling souvenirs, simple foods, and cultural or art products.
Small Wooden Flower Rooms
To promote education under the cooperation with schools, 4 green classrooms are set up in the park, which the academic units, community colleges and other civil societies can apply to use as a teaching space for their experiential courses in the study of the park’s plantations and micro-climate environments.
To facilitate access to proper sanitation, nine toilets are set up and scattered around the park. All the toilets are built with metal formworks, dry compartments and lightweight steel structure to achieve the purpose of reducing construction waste.
